Ordering and delivery conditions

General information

FINROD, business ID: 0459433-6; sells and manufactures fishing rods for companies and individuals in Finland.
These terms of delivery apply to orders placed in our online shop and to similar deliveries.

These terms and conditions apply 20.7.2023 from. We may unilaterally change our terms of delivery from time to time, so please check our terms of delivery each time you order products from our online store.

 

Products and product prices

The characteristics and prices of the products in the online shop are shown in the product description of each product.
We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges, so please check the relevant product page.
Please check the prices in the shopping cart before you accept the order.
The prices of the products include VAT, which will be indicated in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.

Delivery charges

Any delivery costs that may be charged for an order depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the chosen delivery method and are automatically added to the total amount of the order.
You can see the delivery charges (if any) that will be applied to your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order.

Ordering and contract

You can order products on our online shop website by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming your order and paying for the contents of your shopping cart in the payment service.
When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current terms and conditions of delivery.
You understand that your order, once accepted and confirmed by us, is binding, except to the extent that the right of withdrawal is mentioned below, and creates a contract with these terms of delivery between us.

Payment and payment methods

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online shop and available in the shopping cart.

 

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation email will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email address when you place your order.
The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.

If for some unexpected reason we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

 

Delivery method

We will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods listed on our website, which you choose when placing your order.

 

Delivery time

Our most common delivery times within Finland are 7 days, depending on the order and delivery method.
Any more precise times will be indicated in connection with the product options.

 

Right of withdrawal and refund conditions

If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel your order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods or the last delivery or, in the case of regular deliveries, the first delivery.

The cancellation notice must be made clearly on our cancellation form, by sending it with the goods to be returned as a written declaration.

The right of withdrawal applies only and accordingly, the products to be returned must be in their original packaging, unused and well packed for return.

If the transaction is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after making the cancellation notice to our return address mentioned below. If necessary, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned within the deadline, for example with a return receipt. The returner must pay the costs incurred for the return. These costs will not be reimbursed to the returner.

When returning a delivered order, please include your name and contact details and your account number for a refund.

We will refund the money you paid for the order without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Shipment check, error and problems

Please check the delivery as soon as you receive it.
If the product is lost or damaged in transit, or otherwise does not match your order or is faulty, please let our customer service team know as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest, and we will agree how to rectify the fault.
In consumer transactions, we comply with the mandatory consumer protection law provisions on liability for defects.

 

Limitation of liability

FINROD shall not be liable for any indirect or direct damage or any other damage related to the order, delivery or product or any of the above, except to the extent that a mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law provides otherwise with respect to such damage.

 

Disagreements

We aim to resolve any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact our Customer Service team in the first instance to settle the matter.

If the disagreement regarding the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board ( www.kuluttajariita.fi ) for resolution. Before taking the case to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the magistrates’ consumer advisory service ( www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi ).
